When should I take the SAT Subject Tests?
Most students take the SAT Subject Tests in their final year of high school. As the Subject Tests correspond with high school coursework in those subjects, this means students do not have to spend a lot of extra time studying for the SAT Subject Tests.
You CANNOT take the SAT and the SAT Subject Tests on the same day, so it is worth planning your test dates at least a year ahead. Here are the upcoming SAT and SAT Subject Test dates for 2020:
