Role Overview

The Client Advisor is the first touchpoint for prospective students and parents, and works towards building relationships with them and becoming a trusted resource and key point of contact throughout their journey with IvyPrep.

You will share and promote IvyPrep’s services and create a positive and impressive experience leading to an engagement opportunity. In the process of doing so, you will work closely with students to understand their aspirations, develop a strategic roadmap aligned with their profile, and recommend a personalized plan of suitable programs to support them in achieving their goals. Once students are onboarded, you will then connect the students with a diverse team of consultants and tutors / mentors to maximize their academic capability and improve their overall profile.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. You should also enjoy working with young individuals and are motivated and flexible working in a dynamic and fast paced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to student / parent enquiries (online and in person), promote IvyPrep’s services and hold consults with prospective clients in a professional manner and that aligns with IvyPrep’s brand and culture
• Develop deep knowledge of overseas university systems, testing requirements and latest developments / trends in admissions and testing, and be able to share them with students and parents to guide them towards selecting options best suited for the  students
• Understand students’ academic goals and aspirations, and strengths and weaknesses, and build a personalized plan for students with the recommended test preparation and consulting programs and the respective consultants, tutors / mentors
• Based on recommended plan, discuss options and costs with parents / students and follow through to engagement
• Follow up with prospective clients in a timely and effective manner, and address any remaining questions / concerns clearly and satisfactorily
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents along their journey in IvyPrep to check on student’s progress
• Address any questions / concerns and ensure students’ needs have been met, and recommend any potential additional services to maximize student’s performance
• Develop strong relationships with clients to drive referrals and upsells
• Gather student feedback and reviews, and collect student results after the release of admissions outcomes / test results
• Contribute to the writing of articles / resources to provide tips, insights or latest trends in admissions / testing that are beneficial for students
• Participate in researching and generating ideas to reach and connect with prospective students / parents, and be involved in the execution of the ideas
• Offer any insights to enhance areas of sales engagement and product development, in light of ever-evolving client needs

Role Overview

In this role, you will leverage your subject-specific expertise to coach high-school and Junior College students preparing for standardized international tests.

If you have excellent standardized test scores, did well in university, and are passionate about education, you would be a good fit for this role. Ideally you should also have experience in tutoring Math, English, or Science, and an excellent understanding of common admissions tests, such as the SAT, ACT, UCAT, or BMAT.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. You should also enjoy working with young individuals and be flexible enough to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct group test preparation courses (including SAT, ACT, UCAT, and BMAT preparation courses) that run throughout the year
• Collaborate with other teachers to continually refine and develop comprehensive teaching content and lesson plans
• Conduct tuition sessions with individual students, covering key exam topics, problem-solving methodologies, and long-term preparation strategies to guide them towards achieving their target scores
• Maintain reasonable levels of communication with students and parents, and review and update parents on student progress
• Deliver effective and seamless student experiences across various technology platforms, including e-learning and administrative systems, as well as online and hybrid classrooms

Requirements

• Scored 90th percentile or above for any admissions tests such as SAT / ACT / UCAT / BMAT, or be able to achieve an equivalent score in an internal assessment
• Degree from a reputable local or overseas university
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate about education – experience with teaching or curriculum development would be advantageous
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a small, fast paced team environment

Role Overview

The University Admissions Consultant is dedicated to guiding students through their university application process. Working closely with other key IvyPrep team members, including strategists and subject-matter tutors, you will empower students with the skills and knowledge they need to apply successfully to target universities in the US and/or the UK.

Your role involves helping students to develop a comprehensive, personalized application strategy – from identifying values, interests, and passions; researching best fit courses and universities, and curating these elements into an effective final application.

You will be a reliable source of information and advice to students and parents, and must be comfortable speaking to parents to manage family expectations about the consulting and admissions process.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for empowering students, and a track record of success in your college applications are essential for this role. You should also enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor students through their university applications from start to submission, providing strategic advice, admissions insights, and personalized recommendations
• Support students in brainstorming, drafting, editing, and proofreading written application material, including personal essays, supplemental essays, extracurricular awards and activities lists, and requests for letters of recommendations
• For students considering their application ahead of application year, identify their strengths and interests and create strategic roadmaps for them to enhance their extracurricular profiles through the remaining years of high-school / Junior College
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents to check on students’ progress at key milestones and answer any questions
• Collaborate with the Sales team in delivering trials and workshops to facilitate client engagement with IvyPrep’s products and services
• Develop strong relationships with students and parents to drive referrals and cross-sells
• Contribute to the development of resources, materials and articles to provide high quality materials to enhance student engagement and learning
• Offer insights to enhance areas of sales engagement and product development in light of ever-evolving client needs

Requirements

• Degree from a reputable local or overseas university. Personal experience with application(s) to top universities in the US and/or the UK or experience with university admissions consulting is advantageous

Role Overview

The Marketing and Sales Executive focuses on developing opportunities and channels to reach prospective clients and create brand awareness for IvyPrep. You will spearhead marketing and business development initiatives, and establish IvyPrep’s brand with target schools, partners and key influencers within the education landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development / Customer Acquisition
• Develop and implement business development strategies and plans in view of company goals / objectives and market trends
• Drive and manage outreach programs such as events, collaboration, tie-ups, referral campaigns to drive acquisition of prospective clients
• Review and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, ensuring the appropriate mediums are used 
• Manage marketing budget across all initiatives and consistently track leads progress and conversion, and sales / revenue generated from marketing activities

• Branding
• Identify opportunities / channels to create brand awareness in defined target market segments 
• Create and implement marketing materials, brochures, and any collaterals within brand guidelines to support sales process
• Own brand guidelines, and monitor brand's consistency and application across all forms of materials / communication
• Leverage good customer reviews to incorporate in potential brand assets / ratings / communication materials
• Create brand assets and potential content for customer engagement (knowledge pieces, videos, etc.)

• Communication and Engagement
• Build and manage digital strategies and advertising campaigns to attract qualified prospects across Google, Facebook, and other suitable platforms to maximise reach to target audience
• Curate, develop, and publish content for all social media channels (including, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Optimise the website (SEO), drive traffic to the website and improve user experience
• Develop newsletter with engaging content and update website with monthly blog post 
• Work with relevant teams in developing marketing copy for all communication campaigns

Requirements

• Degree from a reputable local or overseas university
• 2-3 years of experience in marketing and developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns across Google and Facebook
• Experience working with other social media channels is advantageous
