MANAGER (BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS)

Responsibilities and Expectations

The Manager (Business Administration & Operations) is in charge of ensuring the overall smooth operations of IvyPrep. We are seeking a people- and results-oriented manager who has the leadership quality to lead a team of teachers and educators to collectively achieve excellence in service, educational and performance standards.

●  Manage the center’s daily operations and business administrative planning, including manpower, logistical and financial planning
●  Motivate and organize the team towards achieving excellence and to meet business targets and key performance indicators
●  Be aware of any feedback on trends through interactions with parents or feedback, and provide timely update to the management
●  Liaise with the teachers & work closely with the management to provide the necessary support, feedback and assessment of teachers.

The Manager (Marketing & Sales) at IvyPrep is responsible for the successful implementation of marketing campaigns across different online channels to generate sales enquiries and leads from a spectrum of target segments.

For this role, the key measures will be the number of new business leads generated, as well as the return of investment from the marketing budget.

You are deeply interested in marketing strategy and in the possibilities of digital marketing, and you are similarly passionate about the prospect of working in an educational organization that seeks to shape young minds and inspire world-changers.

 

Required Qualifications

●  Degree from a reputable local or overseas academic institution

●  Coursework in any field, including but not limited to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, English, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Geography, Sociology, Law, Education

●  Excellent communication skills and good command in English (verbal and written)

 

Preferred Experiences

●  Prior work experience at a digital marketing agency or an advertising agency

●  Experience in WordPress and the fundamentals of web design

●  Experience using a major CRM system, such as Salesforce and HubSpot

– Plan and manage the digital marketing budget

●  Analytics
– Manage the company’s SEO and SEM campaigns
– Suggest methods to improve student retention and increase new signup/enrollment numbers by working closely with the company’s Client Relationship managers
– Set clear and measurable goals and KPIs for online marketing campaigns
– Monitor usability, design and content of the company’s suite of digital marketing efforts, and suggest appropriate improvements when necessary

●  CRM
– Manage the company’s CRM system
– Monitor the success and impact of all online activity (website traffic tracking, EDMs, etc) via the company’s CRM system
– Manage various email campaigns via the CRM system, including template designs and call-to-action tools

WEB DESIGNER

Who We’re Looking For

The Web Designer creates and maintains the look, layout, and features of our website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is created, the Web Designer assists the marketing team with the maintenance and additions to the website. They work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.

 

Responsibilities and Expectations

●  Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

●  Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

●  Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

●  Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

●  Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

●  Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

●  Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

●  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

●  Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

EDUCATION INTERN (3 MONTHS)

As our intern, you will be given broad and concrete responsibilities from the get-go. We are confident that you will finish the internship having gained broad experience in writing content-heavy curriculum for English and Mathematics subjects, and in other aspects of business administration.

 

 

Responsibilities

Your core project as an intern is to help design our unique curriculum that will maximize student achievement. You will be involved in creating a highly structured and engaging curriculum for a range of courses, and you will follow the project through by developing our own in-house textbooks for the curriculum you have designed.

By engaging students in our curriculum uniquely designed for the dreamers and high-achievers, we work to produce a generation of students well poised to take on the world.

●  Design original curriculum and update existing curriculum for various levels of English courses, around the themes of Politics, Philosophy, Economics, Big Business, Finance and National Identity, acquainting young students with key issues that inspire global awareness and critical thinking.

● Exploring on a variety of pedagogical models, classroom management philosophy and educational practices, including the Socratic method, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, blended learning, and problem-based learning.

● Develop academic content for a suite of educational products, determining the pedagogical methods most appropriate for the nature of the course and for the age group of the target students.

● Standardize the formatting of curriculum notes and other lesson materials.

● Update existing curriculum, if and when needed, in response to student reviews and teacher feedback.

Requirements
